Tag: Would You Rather? Beauty Edition!

It's about time I do another post so I saw one of my favorite girls Lindsay do this tag on her blog Always a Girly Girl. It looked like so much fun so I decided I had to do it! So let's get started!

1. Would you rather lose all your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses OR lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

I hate this question!! I am an eyeshadow junkie for sure...but I could NEVER part with mascara! So I guess I would have to give up my eyeshadows, ugh!

2. Would you rather chop off all your hair OR never be able to cut it again?

Assuming that after it's chopped off I would be able to grow it again, I choose chop it off. I think I would die if I was stuck with long hair forever! Too much work and hot!

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or pink cheek.

Definitely a pink cheek. I have alot of redness and pink already in my skin, so whenever I wear corals I feel like the orangy tones of coral tend to clash with my natural color. Yay that was an easy one!

4. If you had $1,000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Are you kidding me? Absolutely makeup!! I just can't get enough makeup. Clothes, meh....I'm not a huge fashionista.

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?

What kind of question is this?? Hmmmm I guess eyeliner as lipstick? If I could find a pink eyeliner?

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

Absolutely Sephora! I do love MAC, but come on Sephora has EVERYTHING you could ever need, skincare, haircare, fragrance, all makeup, nail polish, etc!

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

This one is easy for me since I don't step out of the box often with my lips anyway, I'll stick with just one. I like my eyes and love using different shadows so I need me some shadows!!

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter? 

Well since I live in Louisiana, we often do sometimes wear summer clothes in the winter, so I'll choose that! Wearing winter clothes in the summer would be totally out of the question! No way!

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

Definitely dark nails! While I love my brights, I tend to get tired if them quicker than darks. Also I feel darks can be appropriate all year round, whereas bright colors don't really fit in during fall and winter. 

10. Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

I'm going to have to go with giving up my favorite lip product. I really love playing up my eyes, so my favorite eye product is too important to me! 

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

I do love a messy bun, but I also love the look of a long ponytail, straight, wavy, or curly. I'm going with ponytail since you can do different looks with a ponytail.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your  nails or never use lip gloss?

Assuming I can still use chapstick, I'm going with never use lip gloss. I HAVE to be able to paint my nails! Not negotiable!

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

Ha oh goodness......They make brown Sharpies right? I don't think I could take not having anything at all for brows!

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Seriously??? Even though I LOVE my nail polish and would be super depressed....I have to go with live without nail polish. I do not ever leave the house without makeup! It just makes too much of a difference in my look. What a cruel question!!

My first tag post! How fun! (Even though some questions were totally not fair!!) I'll have to find more of these to do!

OPI Be a Dahlia Won't You

This polish has been on my list for awhile and I finally picked it up and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long. This polish is absolutely stunning! A hot pink base with tiny pinky purple duo-chrome shimmery flecks. Probably not the best description, but just know it's gorgeous! Opaque in two coats, so sparkly, I can't say enough. This polish is so much fun!

These pictures do not so this polish justice. I'm telling you, if you love pink and love sparkle, this is a must-have for you!

Alittle Autumn Decor

I know summer has just begun, but for some crazy reason I am ready for fall. So, I just feel like sharing some of the fall decorations I did in my home last year. Every year I change it up, so I can't wait to see what I come up with this year.

This wicker vase I actually use all year round, I just change what goes in it. Here I have some artificial autumn leaves from Hobby Lobby. Can't remember where I got the Jack O'Lantern, but I just love it. This was to the right as you entered the front door.

I absolutely love these pumpkins! I found them at TJ Maxx one year and have not seen them there since. I have three here on a decorative table in our living room. I have a glittery fall leaf garland behind them and several decorative pumpkins placed here and there. I just love using lights for fall, not just for Christmas. It brings a certain warmth to the room.

Here I have more glittery garland and decorative pumpkins on our piano.

This year I want to step things up a bit, maybe incorporate more lights and bigger, glittery pumpkins!

Ok, enough of that for now. I better go enjoy summer before it's gone!
